Is it free?
The part that matters is free forever, and it is most of the app: the daily question, your streak, as many memories as you like, every widget, and your export. Premium is $4.99 a month, $29.99 a year with the first week free, or $79.99 once for good, and one purchase covers both of you. It buys the app's supply of new things — a dated question pack every month, every game and card pack, a themed bingo card, and the pretty things on top. Nothing you make is ever behind it. There are no ads, and canceling is two taps. There is a full breakdown here.
What if only one of us answers the daily question?
The question waits. Neither answer unlocks until you've both replied — a gentle nudge, never a guilt trip. There are no streaks to break.
Do you read our answers?
No. Your answers are for the two of you. No data sales, no ads, and no feed for anything to leak into.
We're long-distance — is it still for us?
Yes. That's where it started: the miles between you, live, if you both switch it on, whispers that wait for them, and the thumb hug, which works the same from another country as from the next room. And plenty of couples use it from the same couch.
Is there an Android version?
iPhone first, via TestFlight. Android is on the list — join the waitlist and say so; it genuinely moves it up.
What happens to our stuff if we break up?
You can delete everything, permanently, in one place. We'd rather you never need it — but it's there, and it works.
Does it track where we are?
Only if you switch it on, and only roughly. The distance card and Trip Mode use a fix rounded to about a block, taken when you open the app, never in the background. Either of you can turn it off in a tap, for both.
What's the Sunday recap?
Every Sunday at eight in your own time zone, both phones get your week: the days you both answered, your top moods, one question read back with both your answers, and everything else that happened. On a quiet week it says so, kindly.
