Love You, Bye is made by Madilyn Thomas, an independent developer. By using the app you agree to what follows. Questions: maddie@madilynthomas.com.

Using the app

• You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, and the app is intended for adults.
• The app is for you and one partner. Don't use it to harass, coerce, monitor, or surveil anyone — including your partner.
• Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, or content that is illegal.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

Your content

Everything you create in the app stays yours. We claim no ownership of it. We store and process it only to make the app work for you and your partner, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Consent features

Some parts of the app — the dares deck in particular — have comfort levels that each partner sets for themselves. Content is only ever shown at the gentler of the two settings. Please respect a partner who lowers theirs; the app is designed so that nobody can be nudged past their own limit.

Purchases

Any subscription or purchase is processed by Apple and covers both partners in a couple. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

Ending things

• You can unpair or delete your account at any time in Settings.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.
• During beta, we may change or discontinue features. We'll give notice in-app where we reasonably can.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll let you know in the app.
